Recon lighting has many different lighting solutions for many different types of vehicles, and when this customer came in for some strobe lights for his 2007 jeep wrangler we knew just what to do. The customer wanted a very easy simple system to use and he also wanted a system he could add lights to later if need be. The four bulb system was installed, one in each headlight and one in each tail light. The control panel installed under the steering column is easy to use and looks almost factory. The ballast witch kicks out the power to each bulb was hidden under the passenger side foot stay. The kit is very bright and works very well with many different options as far as what pattern you want, and if you just want front, back, and so on. If you have a small fleet or just one truck that you need some strobes installed, contact us and we will set you up and get your truck to work for you.
Inside Edge Inc. specializes in attention to detail and when this customer came in with his truck he told us he had a love for skulls. The project was a 2004 Chevy 1500 silverado that we added an intake, exhaust, and some lighting upgrades. When we did the switch panel we added some skulls poking through the dash with an led indicator light to let the customer know when the accesorie lighting is on. The truck turned out great and the skulls get alot of attention.
Grote License Plate L.E.D. Light's
L.E.D. lighting has come so far as applications go and has become a big part of the automotive movement. Illuminated electronic display or (l.e.d.) is the new standard in automotive lighting and is being offered in many different applications. You will see many vehicles on the road today with l.e.d. lighting and notice the night and day difference. The look of the light is so much cleaner and brighter, and the best part is they run on very little power and most of the time have a million hour candle burning guarantee. The lights have become available for so many different types of applications, taillights, side markers, rooftop lights, and so on. We have noticed that sometimes you can't find l.e.d's for every spot that you want to put one. The one spot we were having a bit of a challenge when finishing a project was the license plate area. They do make many l.e.d. replacement bulbs but they weren't the look we were after.
We started using the Grote license plate light l.e.d. that they use on the big trucks on our diesel projects. They look awesome and are very bright. They have 3 l.e.d.s inside and have a plastic housing. It is a great addition to a project that your changing out the halogen lights to l.e.d.s, it just puts that finishing touch on it. Contact us today and we will set you up with what you need to install one or we can install it for you...

Inside Edge Tip #3
Did you know that you can gain about 3 to 4 miles per gallon with a free flowing exhaust system. It doesn't matter if you have a diesel engine or gasoline engine you can see the benefits in both applications. The free flowing exhaust or catback systems are larger in diameter with a muffler designed to give you just the right amount of backpressure needed to have your engine perform most efficientley. This will also let you here your engine better to give you a better feel on how it's performing. This is just one more step that you can do to make your car run a little greener.

Inside Edge Tip #2
When you go to 7-11 for a Big Gulp, do you reach for the coffee straw? NOOOOOOOO...you reach for the thicker, bigger straw. Why? To get as much refreshment as possible. So why leave your stock intake (coffee straw) on your ride when you can get the Big Gulp straw for it. Not only does it increase efficiency by creating less strain on your engine, but also allows colder air to come into the motor. Why is this good for you? You will get better GAS MILEAGE and more HORSEPOWER when needed. Contact us for an estimate!

Inside Edge Tip #1
Did you know you can make your vehicles charging and electrical system run more efficiently by switching your vehicles incandescent light bulbs over to l.e.d.s. The l.e.d.s run on 1/4 of the power that regular bulbs run on. The other great feature is that they last 4 times longer. This is just one of the little things you can do to help your car run a little greener.
